iPad vanaf 23 juli in Nederland beschikbaar!

We hebben er even op moeten wachten maar het lijkt er op dat de iPad vanaf 23 juli 2010 beschikbaar komt op de Nederlandse markt. Dat wil zeggen in de winkel verkrijgbaar! Blijkt Apple zich toch aan hun woord te houden dat deze in juli verkrijgbaar zou zijn. Gelukkig dus niet enkel te bestellen waar veel verkopers al rekening mee hielden. Aanstaande dinsdag weten we meer.

Ikzelf ben al een paar maanden in het bezit van een iPad 64GB Wi-Fi versie en ben er zelf heel tevreden over. Zo tevreden zelfs dat ik een batch iPads extra ga aanschaffen die ik ga gebruiken tijdens mijn workshops ‘Recruitment via LinkedIn‘. Het scherm mag dan klein zijn, slechts 9.7 inch, maar desondanks wel geschikt voor webpagina’s te bekijken en erg gebruiksvriendelijk.

Sinds de nieuwe layout van dit blog is deze website trouwens al helemaal geoptimaliseerd voor het lezen op een iPad. Zie hieronder een screenshot hoe dat eruit ziet. Inzoomen op tekst gaat heel gemakkelijk door 2 vingers te gebruiken en uit elkaar te bewegen.

Leuk om te melden is dat we onze iPhone app, tevens geschikt voor de iPad, verder ontwikkeld hebben. Ik hoop binnenkort een update en een nieuwe versie hiervan te lanceren. De bijgewerkte versie zal voornamelijk nog Nederlandstalige artikelen op het gebied van Recruitment en Personeelsmanagement bevatten. In de nieuwe app ga je enkel internationale (Engelstalige) artikelen op het gebied van Recruitment, HRM en Loopbaanadvies terug vinden.

UPDATE 19 Juli 2010: Het bericht is nu officieel bevestigd door Apple Nederland en de prijzen zijn ook bekend. De iPad gaat €499 euro kosten voor het 16GB model met WiFi. Het model met 32 GB kost €599 en 64 GB €699. Dezelfde modellen met een additionele 3G verbinding kosten 100 euro meer.
